If you would prefer to visit the Museums without a tour guide, but would still like to skip the long line (which can take up to two hours!) you can book your Vatican Museums Entrance Ticket with us.
These special entrance tickets include the 19,00 euro ticket price plus all reservation fees.
When you book your tickets, you will be provided with a voucher. This voucher does not constitute a ticket and you will not be able to enter the Vatican Museums with this voucher alone. Details regarding meeting point and time for the day you have selected will be described in full on your voucher. You will report to this meeting point, which is at a very convenient location near the Vatican Museums entrance, at the meeting time specified on your voucher. At this meeting point you will meet our representative and you will enter the Museums with the representative, skipping the line. Once past security, our representative will provide you with your tickets. Simple as that! You are now free to explore the Vatican Museums on your own!
For a small extra cost you can upgrade your ticket and join our top-rated guided tour. An expert, English-speaking guide will add value to your experience by pointing out the highlights of the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica and sharing the fascinating stories behind the art. Your group tour also includes special Skip the Line Access to St. Peter’s Basilica, a priority not available with individual tickets. Our groups are small, there are never more than 20 people per group, so your tour will be relaxed and your guide will have time to answer all your questions.
Click here to check out our guided Vatican Museums tour or book directly from this page by selecting 'Vatican Group Tour' (09:00 AM, 10:00 AM & 02:30PM time slots available) from the options menu on the booking box after you have selected a date.
The Sistine Chapel may be subject to unscheduled closures for religious ceremonies. While we undertake to tell guests beforehand if there are any planned disruptions, this is not always possible. In these cases, we are unable to provide refunds or discounts. Please note that appropriate dress is required for entry into some sites on this tour. Knees, shoulders and backs must be covered.
Due to increased security measures at many attractions some lines may form on tours with 'Skip the Line' access.
The tours meet at a location very close and convenient to the entrance of the Vatican Museums. Full details of the exact location are included on the confirmation voucher you will receive when you book your tour.
No. With our tickets, it is not possible to re-enter the Vatican once you leave as the Vatican tickets are single entry only.
