  • Please be advised that access to St. Peter's Basilica will not be guaranteed unless the names of all participants in the booking are provided in advance. This requirement is essential for security and the Venue organizational purposes. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable visit.
  • Due to St. Peter Basilica security regulations, a PASSPORT OR VALID ID DOCUMENT IS MANDATORY to join this tour. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid document with you on tour. Passengers who fail to provide a valid proof of identity when requested will be denied entry.
  • Appropriate dress is required for entry into some sites on this tour. Knees, shoulders, and backs must be covered.
  • Please note that in case of unexpected closures of some of the areas inside the Museums, the guide may have to modify the itinerary slightly.
  • On Wednesday mornings St. Peter's Basilica may be closed to the public due to the Papal Audience taking place in St. Peter’s Square. Customers who wish to visit St. Peter’s Basilica are advised to travel on another day. Saint Peter’s Basilica is subject to last-minute closures for religious ceremonies. When this occurs, we're happy to offer customers an extended tour of the Vatican Museums. While we endeavour to tell tour groups ahead of time if there are any planned disruptions to the Basilica's opening hours, this is not always possible and in these cases we are unable to provide refunds or discounts.
  • This tour involves a fair amount of walking, comfortable shoes are recommended.

   

  Cancelation Policy

  This tour is subject to a 24-hour cancelation policy. If you wish to cancel or amend your booking, you can do so without charge by contacting us up to 24 hours in advance of your expected departure time.

  FAQs

  • When can I cancel a booking?

    On tours canceled more than 24 hours before the scheduled departure time, we are happy to offer our customers a refund for the full value of the tour. This policy is valid across most of our tours, but is subject to some exceptions. In the case of a tour not being in line with this 24-hour cancelation policy, you will find this information in the "Know Before You Go" section of the specific tour page. Tours cannot be canceled with less than 24 hours notice. We are unable to provide compensation for cancelations with the 24 hour window prior to your tour departure, nor can tour dates or times be amended. Bookings made with the 24 hour window are final.

     

  • Is an advanced booking necessary or can I just show up at the meeting point?

    We strongly advise against arriving at the meeting point without a booking as we cannot guarantee that there will be space left on the tour. Our guides are unable to accept payment for tours so any bookings made on the spot will still need to be processed over the phone with payment by credit card.

  • How do I make an amendment to a booking?

    To amend your booking, please contact our Customer Care team by phone, chat or email us at bookings.changes@citywonders.com. If you have booked your tour through a third party distributor, please contact them directly to amend your booking.
