Cancellations

  • How can I cancel a booking?

    To cancel your booking, please contact our Customer Care team by phone or email. If you have booked your tour through a third party distributor, please contact them directly to cancel or rebook your tour.

  • When can I cancel a booking?

    On tours cancelled more than 72 hours before the scheduled departure time, we are happy to offer our customers a full refund. For tours cancelled less than 72 hours before scheduled departure time, we are unable to offer refunds. Instead we suggest that customers reschedule their tour for another time more convenient for them.

  • When should I expect to see my refund?

    Please allow 2 - 3 weeks for your refund to be returned via the payment method provided at time of booking.

Amendments & Rescheduling

  • When can I make a amendment to a booking?

    Changes made to bookings within the 72 hour window will be subject to rebooking fees to cover the cost of tickets purchased, transport, guide rescheduling, headsets and administration.

  • How do I make an amendment to a booking?

    To amend your booking, please contact our Customer Care team by phone or email. If you have booked your tour through a third party distributor, please contact them directly to amend your booking.

  • I would like to add another person to my booking

    We are happy to assist with this request - availability permitting. Please contact our Customer Care Team who can check availability on the tour and take payment for the additional booking, as payment details are not saved in our system for security reasons.

  • If I need to reschedule a booking less than 72 hours before the tour

    If you need to amend a booking with less than 72 hours’ notice, a rebooking fee will be applied. Please contact our Customer Care Team by phone +353 (0) 1 541 4848 to arrange the booking amendment and payment of this fee.

  • If I need to reschedule a booking more than 72 hours before the tour

    If you need to amend a booking with more than 72 hours’ notice, we will be happy to facilitate you, availability permitting, free of charge. A rebooking fee will not be applied. Please contact our Customer Care Team using the contact form or by phone +353 (0) 1 541 4848.

Availability

  • Is an advanced booking necessary or can I just show up at the meeting point?

    We strongly advise against arriving at the meeting point without a booking as we cannot guarantee that there will be space left on the tour. Our guides are unable to accept payment for tours so any bookings made on the spot will still need to be processed over the phone with payment by credit card.

  • How far in advance should I book my tour?

    Our tours are very popular amongst visitors to Italy, Paris and London, so we suggest booking your place on them at your earliest convenience. If you are not ready to book yet and have some questions, we would be happy to help over the phone, via email and Live Chat. It is our mission to ensure that you get the most out of your visit!

  • Unable to book online as there is no longer availability

    Check availability online by selecting book a tour with date and time. The website provides real time data, if there is no availability for the particular tour you are interested in, please check back later online.

Tour Confirmation & Voucher

  • When will I receive confirmation of my booking?

    You should expect to receive an email within minutes of booking with your confirmation voucher.

  • Missing my email confirmation & voucher?

    Please check your junk email in case an email reply has been sent to you. If not, please contact our Customer Care team providing the email address used to book the tour.

  • Unable to print your voucher

    It is not necessary to bring your voucher. We do recommend bringing the voucher with you as it contains helpful maps and directions to the meeting point. You can present this to your guide on the day of your tour either on a mobile device, or print it out.

  • Do I need to bring my confirmation voucher with me?

Refunds and cancellations

  • City Wonders accepts the following credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, American Express.
  • There is no charge or service fee for processing credit-card payments.
  • Full payment by credit card is required to make a reservation. Payment will be listed as City Wonders on the credit card statement.
  • Canceling a booking with City Wonders can result in cancellation fees being applied by City Wonders, as outlined below. When canceling any booking you will be notified via email of the successful cancellation and cancellation fees incurred.
  • City Wonders enforces a 72 hour advance refund policy.
  • Cancellations must be communicated via e-mail at info@citywonders.com no less than 72 hours in advance of the tour in order to receive a refund.
  • No partial refunds will be given for cancellations made within 72 hours of a tour.
  • No partial refunds are available once a tour has commenced.
