After breakfast you’ll split into groups of 10 people or fewer and your expert, English-speaking guide will take lead you on an exploration of the best masterpieces in the Vatican Museums. Still early, the galleries and rooms will be quieter now than later in the day so you’ll have more space to enjoy the magnificent surroundings.

You will see the Gallery of Maps, Gallery of Tapestries, masterpieces in Raphael’s Rooms, and more. Before entering the Sistine Chapel, your expert guide will provide insight into Michelangelo’s world-famous ceiling and Last Judgement frescoes, then give you time in the chapel to take it all in. Many visitors the highlight of the tour is a visit to the Sistine Chapel, made even more fascinating when your guide explains the stories and characters hidden in the art by Michelangelo.
Please note that from August 6th, 2021, all public venues in Italy will require visitors above the age of 12 years old to present valid ID and certification proving that you have either:
- Been vaccinated with an EMA or AIFA approved vaccine (Comirnaty by Pfizer-BioNtech, Vaxzevria by Astrazeneca, Janssen by Johnson & Johnson and Moderna);
- Been tested (PCR or antigen) with a negative result within the last 48hrs;
- Recovered from COVID-19, attested by a PCR or antigen test result, at least 15 days and no more than six months old;
The certification will only be accepted if issued by an approved issuing body of the following countries: EU, Schengen Zone, Canada, Israel, Japan, United Kingdom, and the USA, in either digital or paper format.
