Tour Description

Admire the Sistine Chapel, the Gallery of Maps, Gallery of Tapestries, masterpieces in Raphael’s Rooms, and more. Although commentaries are not permitted within the chapel your guide will be on hand to paint a vivid portrait of the stories behind key artworks and the precious relics inside with the help of photographs of the frescos.

After exploring the Sistine Chapel, enjoy the pecks of our Vatican partnership, by exiting via a special door that leads you straight down to St. Peter’s Basilica bypassing another long line. See the incredible Papal Altar under Bernini’s Baldachin, and marvel at Michelangelo’s other timeless masterpiece, La Pietà, as you discover the most important church in the Christian world. Once outside, admire Bernini’s clever optical illusion in St. Peter’s Square and make sure to keep a lookout for the balcony from which the Pope delivers his public addresses.

To make your experience even more memorable, you’ll attend the new surround sound live show about the tale of Michelangelo and his frescoes masterpiece. From Marco Balich, the artistic director for several past Olympics with music composed by the legendary Sting, the one-hour show features the history of some of the artwork ever created, unveiling all its secrets. To top it all off, we have reserved only central tickets for you, so you are guaranteed to enjoy the show at its best.
